On this project, Doug Bradley and Steph Scuillo hired us at Tolin FX to recreate and apply the makeup for his iconic character Pinhead for a small interactive live theater show in which fans would get to meet Pinhead in the flesh, as opposed to Doug Bradley. Doug had brought Pinhead to life in Hellraiser films 1-8 and at the time, hadn’t worn the pins and scars for 14 years. Steve Tolin bestowed onto me the honor with the task of sculpting, casting, painting and applying the makeup for the event. Tom Savini acted as a consultant from his previous involvement in the project, while his apprentice at the time Jason Baker assisted me in the application. We also helped complete the set build for the production as well as operate the Lament Configuration that was built by Devan Seman and David Kim at Tolin FX. The wardrobe was fabricated by Allison and Sean Boyle.
